Em has moved to her dormitory. When I called my mother last week. She said, "Isn't sad not to have one of your daughters? You are ok, though, unlike me." She meant I moved to Tokyo, one day trip to Tokyo from my hometown, then to US. She had never said anything like that before.

I do not think she waited so long for Em to leave here and told me that.

I had lunch with her today. She seems to have some hard time to adjust herself to her new environment. She calls her mother and sends her text messages. She calls me when she needs something. I guess that is how it goes.

I do not think she will come home this weekend.

My class is fine. This semester. I have a Japanese American student from Hawaii. Her grandfather belonged to 442. She told me in her high school classes she had had Takenos. I wonder if they are my relatives.
