I am Slidell, La. at Joyce's parents' house. We drove yesterday. Seventeen hours. I did all the night drive and several hours during the day time. No rain or accident. Emily drove one hour.
It is hard for an old man. That was 1125 miles.
I will be back to Baltimore on 29th. and fly to Japan on 30th. My father had a meaningless stay at hospital for a month. Operation was not successful. He is ok for now. I have been healthy, not smoking, driking or anything bad. My blood pressure is 108/73. I need to take more salt or drink soy sauce to bring up blood pressure a little higher maybe.
More and more parking tickets at Towson. Parking service is out of control. My job is much better with an assistant who works hard. My new assistant is focused and attentive. Everything is organized. All the students interns are great and interested in working. I do everything to make them prepared for the real world. It seems they are appreciative. I will be busy with my freelance jobs next month,,, annual reports, big companies.
I still do not like to fly for so many hours. But I know I will enjoy sushi there better. After all my mother pays me for the trip. Next time maybe I should fly to Europe, Moscow, Thailand, India and Tokyo. It is about 4,000 dollars to go around the world. I have never been to Europe. Not much interested any way. I would love to go to the lake in Russia and see fresh water seals.
Here there is nothing much to do. I just came back from church. I helped them set up Christmas decorations there. "Too many fishermen would take a fishing boat up to the top of a mountain." There were people who should not sugget anytihng.
It is nice not to take photos sometimes. Seeing without a camera is important.
